Thusharagiri Waterfalls – One Place You Cannot Miss to Visit While in Kerala

Located beautiful amid the Western Ghats, some 55 kms from Kozhikode, Thusharagiri waterfalls is one of the most
beautiful falls in the state of Kerala. Formed by the two originating from the Western Ghats, the falls gives an outstanding view to the onlookers and after plunging from a breathtaking height, it meets to form Chalippuzha River. Out of the three waterfalls, Thenpara is the highest falls that cascades beautiful from the height of 75 metres.

How to Reach

By Air: Airways is the best means of transportation to reach here. Nearest airport is Kozhikode, located at a distance of 75 kms and from here one can hire local taxi to reach the falls.

By Rail: Railway is the second best means of transportation and more of all it is cheaper compared to airways. Nearest railhead is Kozhikode which is located at a distance of 60 kms. From here one can hire taxi or cab to reach the falls.

By Road: Travelling by road gives visitors an exciting experience as they can enjoy the beauty of the nature with which the reason is gifted with. From Kozhikode the fall is located at a distance of 52 kilometers via Kunamangalam and Thamarassery.  KSRTC buses and cab in plenty ply through this route, making it easier to reach the falls.
