The Kabini forest reservoir remains to be one of the most popular and frequently visited wildlife destinations by travelers. The lush greenery, perfect ambiance of nature, herd of elephants and other animals are the major tourist attractions in here. The Kabini forest reservoir covers an area of about 55 acres which includes forestland, water bodies and steep valleys. It is said to be believed that in past days Kabini used to be a popular hunting place for Indian crowned heads and British Viceroy. But in today, this reservoir is listed on the front lists as the best wildlife sanctuary which even plays an important role in State’s tourism.

It is a real retreat to the photographers and nature explorers. There are numbers of attractions among which the best attractions are stated as the land and river safari. During your land safari enjoy the distant views of elephants, peacocks, bison and other rarely seen animals. Jeep safaris are also conducted by the state government resort.
