If I was there I would wish to walk by foot. But when it comes to spot leopard then make sure you prefer jeep safari. Water safari is another interesting safari. As there are two options available, it is up to you.

Not only these, there are other attractions which are worth visiting. The gorgeous Irpu falls or Lakshman Tirtha Falls cascading from the height of 60 meters high is a nearby tourist spot. It is also a popular pilgrimage center. Elephant safari is another interesting tourist activity which really helps tourists to cross obscure and difficult terrains where jeeps can’t even reach. It realizes the real feeling of being King, as in past days only the Kings used to make a ride on elephants. The nearest airport is Mysore airport located at a distance of about 17 kilometers approx whereas, the nearest railway is also art Mysore but is at a distance of 72 kilometers away from Kabini. Best time to visit if from the months of November to June.
